Run
The Run menu provides commands that run Data Splitter :
- File input (Ctrl+F)
- Email input (Ctrl+E)
- URL (web page) input (Ctrl+U)
- Run (Ctrl+R)
When file input is chosen the file specifications listed in the Input/Output menu "Input files" dialog are scanned.
When email input is chosen the message folders listed in the Input/Output menu "Input email folders" dialog are scanned. All messages in the specified folders are scanned.
When URL input is chosen the URLs listed in the Input/Output menu "Input URLs" dialog are scanned.
When "Run" is chosen the program chooses the first input source list in which one or more items are specified :
- Email message folders
- URLs
- File specifications
For example, if both URLs and file specs are specified Data Splitter will scan the URL input list when "Run" is chosen.
